What Others say about valerie…

Valerie operates across and manages elements of both the Operations and HR agenda in our Washington DC office as well as overseeing several cross-cutting activities that cover both Washington and Geneva. She is a composite professional, an exceptional listener, and brings a calm and honest approach to every challenge she faces. These strengths enable her to bring people together and defuse potentially inflammatory situations. I highly value her counsel and advice at both a personal and professional level, she is an invaluable member of my team and an asset to Gavi.
— Director of Operations. Gavi, The Vaccine Allilance

I worked with Valerie during the inaugural committee for the People-for-People (P4P) ministry through Immanuel’s Church in Silver Spring. Valerie served in a number of volunteer capacities in that committee, with emphasis on job readiness including; resume evaluations, job search strategies, and providing training on improving interviewing skills. I have also called upon Valerie as an HR content expert to assist with other related community outreach efforts. I have always found Valerie to be knowledgeable, reliable, and a pleasure to work with.
— Certified Workforce Development Specialist, Immanuel's Church
I formerly worked with Valerie, and have known her for over two decades as we worked exclusively in the non-profit association management arena. Valerie has been a consistent and reliable HR content expert and thought leader who has been a valued friend and advisor. Her knowledge, intelligence and tenacity would be an asset to any organization. I highly recommend Valerie for her well-rounded human resource management experience, as well as proven skills in organizational development and would welcome any contact to discuss this recommendation and/or my experience working with her.
— Former Board President, ASAE

I had the pleasure of working with Valerie during her time with the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, while I was President and CEO. At the Board, Valerie served as Director of HR and Administration, and she directed the human resources administration, and facilities management functions. Valerie was able to translate and transfer the strategic and tactical business plans determined by me, the Board of Directors and executive team, into HR strategic and operational plans. She also displayed warmth, humor, and excellent interpersonal skills.
